Director, Cinematographer, Coffee Roaster
The son of a cinematographer and grandson of an art director, Sean grew up in the world of advertising. After earning a BFA in photography from RIT, Sean moved to New York and served as Director of Photography on several award-winning short form and feature length films. In recent years he has worked extensively on campaigns for Coca Cola, Citi, and Verizon among many others, including Silver Lion and Clio award winners.
Recently his passion for the craft has met with his involvement in the craft food and beverage community in New York, working with rapidly growing brands including Singlecut Beersmiths and Astoria Distilling to create work of a level otherwise not available to companies of their size. With over a decade of experience as a cinematographer, he has developed a painterly sense of composition and lighting.
After years of roasting coffee on a custom-built roaster of his own design, Sean founded Mighty Oak, New York’s first wood fired coffee roaster, in 2018.
